I am affiliated with Exit Real Estate Consultants in Lexington, SC working with Buyers and Sellers in Lexington, Chapin, Irmo, and Lake Murray SC. I specialize in working with Lakefront and Lake Access properties as well as Investors. I hope to have the opportunity to work with you.

I’ve always been enthusiastic about real estate and bringing a deal together. I have over 15 years experience in new construction building high end custom homes and commercial buildings in Hilton Head and Bluffton SC. Throughout my building career I’ve been involved in multiple real estate transactions, many of which have required patience, diligence, and creativity. My attention to the details and my professionalism will be an asset to all of my clients.

I am originally from Montgomery, NY which is a small rural town about 2 hours north of New York City. I relocated to Hilton Head Island in 1995 with my wife Vicki and my 6 month old daughter Erika. It did not take long to realize that the Lowcountry would be an excellent place to raise a family. In 1996, after building our first home in Bluffton SC, our son Michael was born. We enjoyed our 12 year stay in this area and continue to maintain great business and personal relationships that we value very much.

In 1995 I founded my building company McVey Custom Homes, Inc. This gave me a tremendous opportunity to work with an incredible client base as well as multiple construction and business professionals. To date this company has completed over 60 luxury custom homes.

In 2004 I added McVey Commercial Properties to service the commercial construction needs of the area. As an unlimited GC I’ve had the opportunity to construct high end Office Buildings, Retail Space, and Warehouse projects. Currently my team and I continue construction operations in Hilton Head and Bluffton.

In 2005 my family and I began visiting the Columbia area on a regular basis, primarily spending our time on beautiful Lake Murray. As we became more familiar with the area we appreciated how much Chapin had to offer our family, and began planning our relocation. We relocated to Chapin in July of 2007.I felt the stable market of Columbia as well as the great surrounding communities provided an excellent opportunity to diversify my companies.
