My house sold in less than three months even in a sluggish market!
I had the good fortune to find Mike and Vicki McVey through an internet search for real estate agents. I owe much of the success of selling my home to them. Immediately upon agreeing to work together, Mike and Vicki began to aggressively market my home. They were available and responsive throughout the entire process. Any time they made a commitment to do anything or to meet with me, these things occurred without failure. It was comforting to know that I was working with people who were reliable and trustworthy. While I was fully aware that selling homes was their business, I always felt as if they had my best interest in the forefront. This was particularly evident in the negotiation process with the buyers. Mike and Vicki provided information to help me make decisions, but without pressure to make a particular decision. I was particularly impressed when after the inspection results were provided, Mike was helpful in managing the buyers’ requests, personally identified resources to make the repairs and was generous in offering his time to make sure that all the work was done and up to my expectations.
It is my plan to work with the McVeys on my next real estate transaction and I recommend the McVeys without reservation to you.

When I decided to start my search for a new home in SC I interacted with several agents via the internet. Mike McVey was consistent with communication and provided many homes that were relevant to my search. Once my home in Tennessee went under contract, it was clear at that time that I wanted to work with Mike on my new purchase. Mike and Vicki McVey are the most professional, reliable real estate agents that we have ever worked with. Not only did they put our wants and needs at the center of the search, encouraging us to look at houses we might not have considered otherwise, but Mike’s building experience was a great asset when negotiating the conditions and price on our new home. Mike, I wanted to say thank you for finding us the great home on Lake Murray! It was just what we were looking for to accommodate our family and friends and we look forward to many years of fun and relaxation. We have had a blast working on it and putting on our personal touches. It truly is a place that will be in our family for many, many years to come. You were wonderful to work with and patient with us as we moved through the search process. I have never worked with a realtor that was so accommodating for the hours and days we were available to tour homes and really listened to what we wanted and needed, sometimes when we weren’t too sure ourselves. Mike and Vicki McVey were a huge help to us when we bought our home. Mike and Vicki helped me buy my new home and I could tell that their focus was on my best interests through the whole process. They recommended homes that I did not find on my own and encouraged me to look until I found the right one. There were issues that came up with repairs that were supposed to be completed by the seller and they fought for what was agreed even after I was ready to accept the short comings of the deal.
After seeing their commitment to the buying process I knew I would feel comfortable having them list my home too. They knew that the stress of having two homes was a concern to me and I believe they helped me price my home properly which got it sold in this slow housing market. I would recommend them to anyone.

Even with the problems getting the septic permit, you never gave up and went beyond what most realtors would be willing to do. We bought our home in June 2006 in Belfair Golf Club community, as we live in Hong Kong; we have only been able to visit several times since closing. As in any home, you find certain things for a punch list in the first twelve months of living. We were recently at out home for Thanksgiving and New Years. Both visits we found several items that needed attention, both times we called and left messages on the answering machine, as they occurred over the weekend.
